Blog 2 - Influential Woman from francophone world

Joan of Arc

1. She was the daaughter of a farmer. She was very courageous, and she was someone you would consder featured at that time.

2. She is a heroine of France, and is the one who lead the French army in a momentous vistory at Orleans in 1429.

3. She was known for her braveness to fight for freedom and to lead an army. She is also known for freeing her country from the English.

4. Someone from my culture who is simlar to Joan of Arc is Rani of Jhansi. She was also a fearless freedom fighter. She is often called India's Joan of Arc. Her bravery to lead the army in to war is also something similar between Joan of Arc and Rani of Jhansi.
